Pantnagar University, commonly known as Govind Ballabh Pant University of Technology and Agriculture (GBPUAT), was founded in 1960 in Pantnagar, Uttarakhand. It now offers two undergraduate, eight postgraduate, and seven doctoral programs. B.Sc. and B.Tech are provided at the undergraduate level, and M.Sc., M.tech, MBA, MCA, and M.Sc. Agri. are available at the graduate level, as well as a Diploma in Hi-tech Agriculture and seven Ph.D. programs. The courses offered are:

Kumaun University, Nainital

Kumaun University is a state university in Kumaun, India, that was founded in 1973 and spans 160 acres. Kumaun University has over 65 affiliated colleges, including 49 government colleges. It provides undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs in a variety of areas, as well as a variety of additional courses.

MBA tuition fee costs around 42,000 per year. Admission to the courses is based on merit as well as entrance. It has been accepted by the UGC, and the application procedure is online.   • Bachelor of Fisheries Science, Bachelor of Veterinary Science.

Uttarakhand University of Horticulture & Forestry

The Uttarakhand University of Horticulture & Forestry (UUHF) was founded in 2011 by the state government under the Uttarakhand University of Horticulture & Forestry Act, 2011, which was enacted by the State Legislative Assembly. It has two campuses, one in Bharsar and the other in Ranichauri. The courses offered in this college are:

  • B.Tech in Food Science, M.Tech in Food Process Engineering.
  • B.Sc in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry. The estimated to cost roughly 40,000 rupees.
  • M.Sc in Food Technology, Forest Products, and Utilization, fruit Science, Agroforestry, Plant Pathology, Seed Science & Technology, Tree Improvements, Silviculture, Plantation Crops and Processing, Vegetable Science, Entomology. It costs around 45,000 rupees .

Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Garhwal

HNBGU was founded in 1973, it is a central university in Uttarakhand’s Garhwal region. Several subjects are covered by the university’s PG, UG, UG Diploma, PG Diploma, and Research Programs. HNBGU includes 11 schools that are divided into several domains. and interested students should go to the university’s official website to learn more about the admissions process and to apply online.

Both merit and the admission exam will be used to make the final decision. Students must pass a variety of national-level admission tests, such as JNU-CEEB and JEE Main. To be accepted into HNBGU, students must meet the appropriate cutoffs. Courses offered by the university are:

Uttaranchal University, Dehradun

Uttaranchal University (UU) began as the Uttaranchal Institute of Technology in the year 2002. The Uttarakhand government bestowed the title of the university to it in 2012. The UGC has been approved by the university. In the fields of engineering and technology, business, and law, the Uttaranchal University offers 16 UG programs, 4 certificate courses, 19 PG degrees, 4 integrated courses, and 13 doctorate courses.

The Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences provides pharmacy diploma and undergraduate programs. Courses in biological sciences and associated disciplines, such as B.Sc in Agriculture, Forestry costs around 2.5lakhs. M.Sc Agriculture in Plant Pathology, Agronomy, Horticulture, and others, are also offered at the university. Doon College Of Agriculture Science and Technology, Dehradun

The Doon group of colleges includes the Doon (PG) College of Agriculture Science and Technology in Dehradun. It was established in 2008.
