Strautmann wagons get new pick-up

After successful field trials, Strautmann has announced that its Flex-Load pick-up will be fitted as standard on all Magnon wagons, and will also be available across the rest of its range.

The setup features polyurethane plastic tines that have been designed to be as flexible and durable as possible, following the contours of the ground rather than disturbing the soil.

This means soil and stone contamination is minimised, giving a better-quality crop.

The new system also promises to reduce the chances of tine breakage and wear, and downtime can be reduced because there is no need to remove the pick-up bands when replacing tines.

The new model will be displayed on Opico’s stand at Lamma in January.
