Connecting veterans with benefits, resources
The webinar will provide an overview of the Veterans Administration Solid Start, VASS, program, a key outreach effort focused on successfully connecting recently separated veterans with the benefits and services they have earned due to their military services.
“The program is designed to assist service members transitioning to civilian life,” said Rachel Brauner, AgriLife Extension specialist-military programs, Bryan-College Station. “We want to help veterans build a solid foundation by connecting them with direct benefits, resources through partner organizations and the tools to navigate the new challenges that may come their way.”
Leading the webinar will be Regina Yount, program manager, Veterans Benefits Administration-U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Washington D.C.
