Grassland farmers seeking a more delicate means of cutting and processing leafy crops such as alfalfa and clover have a new mower option from Czech firm Rozmital.

Its twin roller conditioner fits behind the standard seven-disc bed and is currently available on the 3m-wide SC-301R front unit in limited numbers through UK importer SJH Machinery, based near Kington, Herefordshire.

The list price is €19,990 (£17,500) and the company expects to roll out rear butterfly units to match the front one by 2024.
