Irish firm Keenan has updated its popular diet feeder range with the facelifted MechFiber+, which gains extra user-friendly features.
The paddle castellations in the mixing chamber have been redesigned with a more rounded top section and an increased rake angle.
This allows for a gentler movement of the feed, and ensures the fibre content is not hampered.
It also allows for a consistent chop length and structure to promote rumen health in cattle.

Keenan states the largest model in the range – the MechFiber365+ – can feed between 100-140 dairy cows, or 200-280 beef finishing cattle, with one full load.
The newly designed model has a power requirement of just 105hp and carries more lights on the feed-out door to help with visibility.
Prices start from £25,000.
