Plant research innovators can now leverage updated plant disease identification service from Lifeasible, designed to improve food security and agricultural sustainability across the world.

The formation and development of plant diseases involve three factors: plants, pathogens and environment. In agricultural production, human activities have an important impact on the occurrence and prevalence of crop diseases. The plant pathogens that can cause plant diseases mainly include pathogenic fungi, bacteria, mycoplasma, viruses, nematodes and parasitic plants; the infection process of pathogens can be divided into four periods: early invasion period, invasion period, incubation period and onset period; the disease cycle mainly involves the overwintering and summer transmission, initial infection and reinfection of pathogens.

The premise of plant disease control is disease diagnosis. Under the action of pathogenic factors, the growth and development of plants are disturbed and destroyed, showing an abnormal state. Morbidity manifested after plant disease is called a symptom. Usually according to the symptoms of plant damage, plant pathogens and disease characteristics, determine the cause of disease and disease types, and then take corresponding control measures.

Lifeasible, as a leading plant biotechnology company with outstanding expertise in plant physiology, molecular biology, and biochemistry, is proud to provide tailored plant disease detection services supported by cutting-edge technologies.

Based on different plant species, pathogen sources, and specific experimental purposes, the company provides a wide range of plant disease detection methods: Thermography method, Hyperspectral method, Gas chromatography (GC), Fluorescent imaging, Biosensor detection, Polymerase chain reaction (PCR), Fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH), Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), Immunofluorescence (IF), and Flow cytometry (FCM).

“We are committed to providing reliable cutting-edge technologies to improve food security and agricultural sustainability. With many years of experience in plant pathology research, as well as strong support from our excellent team of scientists and crop experts, we can provide direct and indirect detection methods for plant pathogens and diseases to achieve early and accurate detection of plant diseases.” Commented one of the representative speakers from Lifeasible Marketing Department.
