Lamma 2022: Agriweld extends cultivator line-up

A growing number of high-end cultivators are being produced by Driffield-based fabricator Agriweld.

The firm cut its teeth designing and building machines for other firms, such as Grimme and Grange Machinery, but it is now selling its wares under its own name.

Agriweld’s Rhino range of equipment includes subsoilers, drags, track eradicators and several low-disturbance toolbars, plus a new trailed cultivator that can work in five configurations.

When all elements are in play, the Multi-till 5T works as a one-pass machine, with a set of low-disturbance legs to loosen the ground, two rows of Carrier discs to generate a tilth and a ribbed packer roller to consolidate.

However, each element can be hoisted out of work independently so it can just lift ground or disc, with or without the packer in play.

To avoid blockages, the firm has designed custom twin disc carriers, with a wide central spacing for improved trash flow.

It’s available in 3m, 4m, 5m and 6m widths, with a 300hp-plus tractor needed to run the latter. Optional extras include a seeder unit and liquid fertiliser tank.

Prices start at £41,000 for the 3m machine.
