Kuhn has launched a new tedder that promises to be far more durable than its predecessor.
The GF 13003 T, which replaces the 13012, has 12 rotors with chunkier 10mm-diameter tines and stronger 80mm-thick springs.
These, the company says, will last twice as long as previous fittings.

The tedder takes 20-25sec to unfold in a single movement – half the time of the previous model – without the need for a control box or electric sensors. Tine height can then be set hydraulically.
The new model also has improved contour following thanks to the Ground Save Control system, which allows the rotor train to move independently from the frame and, therefore, minimise soil scraping, crop contamination and tine wear.
To improve transport, the length has been reduced by almost 50cm to 6m, and it has a new reversible drawbar that allows it to be hitched to a wider range of tractors.
It is available in 13m or 17m working widths, with prices starting from £41,660 and £50,700, respectively.
