German firm Krone has announced that its front mowers will now come with a pair of DLG-certified cameras – a significant upgrade that will now be fitted as standard on all current models.

The new system comprises two cameras and a display screen, along with all the necessary wiring.

The in-cab screen displays a split view of each of the camera feeds simultaneously, giving better visuals of tight spots and tricky to navigate parts.

This, the makers say, should help to remedy some of the notorious challenges associated with front mowers, such as encounters with field gates and narrow yards.

The DLG certification is an accreditation awarded to agricultural products that have passed a stringent usability test, and one that Krone has carried out for each of the individual front mower models.
