Iowa soybean farmer pays tribute to late father

Des Moines, Iowa’s CBS affiliate KCCI covered a son’s touching tribute to his father, who passed away before the planting season started due to a heart condition.

Using GPS and the image loaded onto the prescription layer of his planter’s monitor, Brian Ricklefs wrote “MISS YOU DAD” in 200-foot-tall letters. It honors Tim Ricklefs, who had a passion for agriculture.
