Deutz-Fahr unveils new three-model 6C tractor range

Deutz-Fahr has ushered in a new three-strong range of tractors to replace its existing 6120, 6130 and 6140.

The trio will sit between Deutz’s 5 and 6 series tractors, with the “C” name designation reflecting the new models’ more compact dimensions.

The three models – the 6115C, 6125C and the 6135C – span from 126hp to 143hp, and all come with a four-cylinder, 3.6-litre Deutz engine.

The shift to Stage 5 emissions compliance was the main driver behind their launch, but the company has also taken the opportunity to make some transmission changes.

Existing gearbox options include the three-stage PowerShift and stepless, but there’s also an entirely new RVShift.

This full-powershift transmission has 20 forward and 16 reverse gears, along with a “supercreeper”, and allows the operator to switch between two modes – work, and transport – so they can drive within a predetermined range of gears.

This, Deutz says, will simplify the driving experience, streamlining the road-to-field transition.

Elsewhere, the 6C has a lift capacity of 7t, and a hydraulic output of either 90 litres/min or 120 litres/min, dependent on the choice of either gear pump or a load-sensing alternative.

Stoll-made front loaders can be factory fitted, and come in the distinct Deutz bright green livery.

Advance orders made across the network of nearly 60 dealerships mean that the 6C is already available in the UK, but new orders are facing a six-month factory lead time.

Retail prices start from £94,345.
