Bayer and Kroger partner with Luke Bryan for Feeding America

There are few entertainers who celebrate farmers so consistently — and with such hands-on enthusiasm — as does country singer Luke Bryan. He is again teaming up with Bayer, as well as with grocery chain Kroger, to highlight the #HerestotheFarmer campaign to raise funds for Feeding America.

Their goal is to address hunger issues and support rural America, and for more than a decade, this campaign has supplied millions upon millions of meals to people in need.

Fans taking part in the campaign also have the opportunity to win Luke Bryan VIP experiences, tickets, and swag while using the #HeresToTheFarmer hashtag to help feed families in need. Bayer will provide one meal for each share of the hashtag through October 31, 2022. It’s estimated that $1 will provide 10 meals to hungry Americans; the hope is to get to 1 million meals served.

“I grew up around farming and know the tough work, passion, and grit you need to be an American farmer,” Bryan said. “They play an incredibly important role in all our lives. That’s why I’m excited to again team up with my friends at Bayer to say ‘Here’s to the Farmer’ and give thanks for the work they do to make sure we all have food on the table, and give back to communities around the country.”

You can go to the #HeresToTheFarmer website and complete the online entry form. Grand prize winners and secondary prize winners will be drawn in July of 2022.

As always, this coincides with Bryan’s annual Farm Tour, during which time he’ll perform at farms across six states. Tickets are available on the Luke Bryan website for the dates from September 15 to 24:

  • September 15 — Highland Farms, Monroeville, Indiana
  • September 16 — SpringFork Farms, Mechanicsburg, Ohio
  • September 17 — Kubiak Family Farm, Fowlerville, Michigan
  • September 22 — Stock Hay & Grain Farm, Murdock, Nebraska
  • September 23 — Ziel Farm, Boone, Iowa
  • September 24 — Gar-Lin Dairy, Eyota, Minnesota

The #HeresToTheFarmers campaign and partnerships have helped provide almost 5 million meals to Feeding America over the years. More than $180,000 has been donated to member food banks and local farmers at each tour city.

Garnering 29 number one hits, Luke Bryan is the son of a peanut farmer from Georgia. He originally launched his Farm Tour in 2009 to celebrate America’s farmers. Bayer began partnering with Luke Bryan, launching their campaign to fight hunger and support farmers in 2015.

“We are excited to continue our commitment to this important campaign and partnership with Luke Bryan and recognize the hard work and dedication from U.S. farmers to feed America and the world,” said Beth Roden, Senior Vice President and Head of U.S. Communications for Bayer U.S. “#HerestotheFarmer reinforces the vital role that farmers and food banks play in addressing food insecurity by feeding people in need in the U.S. — especially in rural communities.”
