With just six weeks to go before Agri-Tech Week, with its seven regional events (including Agri-TechE’s flagship REAP conference), Agri-TechE has a new member of the team to support its dynamic events calendar and wider membership activities.
Kristina Kalinina joins from a division of the Judge Business School where she was organising careers events, and says she is thrilled to join Agri-TechE as the new Events and Marketing Coordinator.
She has a passion for event organisation as she explains: “While still a student, I was already organising events as a member of a theatre studio and a career ambassador. I was fortunate to continue organising various employer engagement activities within the Education sector at CJBS Careers in Cambridge.
“I am passionate about the tech industry and I’m looking forward learning more about agri-technologies and agriculture more widely – I am a big fan of growing tomatoes in my garden!”
Kristina will hit the ground running as between now and Agri-Tech Week there is an online Farmer First Innovation Group meeting, and an in-person Early-Career Innovators’ Forum at British Sugar’s Wissington Factory in Norfolk on 24th October, to explore the role of innovation and the circular economy for early career scientists, farmers and industry professionals.
