Landini has officially launched its two-model 6H-series, which meets Stage 5 emissions limits following a switch from Deutz to FPT engines.

Both run the Italian engine maker’s 3.6-litre motor, with the 6-125H good for 119hp and the 6-135H topping out at 127hp.

Maximum torque has been increased to 518Nm at 1,300rpm, fuel consumption has apparently been cut by 10%, and the tank capacity is up by 20 litres to 170 litres.

The transmission offers 36 forward speeds across three ranges, or 48 speeds when specced with the creeper option.

The hydraulic system has also been upgraded to 110 litres/min, plus a further 35 litres/min available for the steering to improve performance when shunting and turning regularly during loader work.

Up to seven spools are available, two of which are mid-mounted, and rear lift is 6t – 1.5t more than the biggest model in the range below, the 5-120.

Buyers can also spec a front linkage rated to 2.25t (£4,154) and the L30 front loader provided by Sigma4.

Features of the four-pillar cab include an opening sunroof, mechanical suspension and a new joystick for loader and linkage controls. Front-axle suspension adds £5,382 to the list price and is only available with the 50kph transmission pack.

The models slot in above the 5-Series, which tops out with the 114hp 5-120 Dynamic. And, with the 6C-Series discontinued, the 6Hs now sit below the three-model 6RS Robo-Six range.

This starts with the 135hp 6-135RS, which has a bigger 4.5-litre engine, 123-litre/min hydraulics and 7.2t rear lift, plus an Argo-developed 24-speed powershift transmission.

Retail price of a 6-125H is £92,054 with a 40kph transmission, or £98,642 for 50kph. The 6-135H is £94,639 or £101,227 depending on the top speed specified.
